On Tuesday June 19, a tour for journalists took place at Neve Shalom Wahat al-Salam and the concert site. It included a view of the place where Roger Waters will plant an olive tree in the village, explanations by NSWAS Secretary Rayek Rizek, the organizers and the police in charge of security and traffic management at the event, and a tour of the stage and concert area.

It was hard to avoid the conclusion that this will be a historic event - in terms of its size, the unprecedented sophistication (for Israel) of the sound equipment - and its unique magical setting below the peace village. And with the monastery just "across the field..." it looks like the site was specially made for "Dark Side". As indeed it was.
