We renovated the old building of the kindergarten and moved the nursery there: Although the "noise" of the school disturbed sometimes, it was a new attraction for a little ones, the presence of the older children was very interesting for them, so they actually enjoyed the change...
The School is flowering - a garden with flowers, a lawn and vegetables. The young gardeners are working, picking vegetables and cooking them. Thanks to Eitan, Ibrahim and Bentzi.
Science classes received a big boost this year. We organized a rain day, creative and learning activities. Thanks to Reem and her assistants.
In the yard, two large cubes provide group tasks, using the four arithmetical functions. In the classrooms learning of arithmetic takes place: puzzles, b mathematical building games, mechanics kits, symmetry games and more. Thanks to Maisoon who initiated and organized everything.
But if you ask the kids, they will surely tell you that the most fun activity ities at the School were the breaks and the free classes.
At the beginning of the school year, the library moved. We are creating a new corner for it at the school - thanks to Lira and all the students who helped.
This year the first year children worked in the language room. How it was fun to go there, play and learn while doing so many different things...
Sport was a special experience. Working out, organizing sports days, and competing with other schools and sometimes even winning...

An important activity, in which all the school children took part, was teh archeology project. The children learned in the classrooms, and afterwards went out to dig and expose treasures not far from the school. Parents too participated in the project, but we will tell more about this later...

iEARN is an organization of teachers from all around the world. Their learning community are invited to take part in various projects. We chose to took part in a project called "Kites speaking peace". On March 21 2006, we flew kites together with thousands of other kids from around the world. The children made their own kites.
